tHe FaIr!

So... last night I went to a fair with my 3 friends, Kenzie, Macey, and Sierra. It was really really fun!!! But there was a slight mishap.. hehe.

Sooooo, we all went on this way fun CRAZY ride called the Graviton and it's hard to explain but basically you spin so fast somethin happens to the gravity, and it makes you like stuck! Like it feels like your literally glued to the mat you lay on! It was really fun, but we all felt a little woozy:) (Picture of the Gravitron in ACTION!!!!)

But hey, that was only the first ride! So we went on ANOTHER crazy ride called the Zipper, (almost identical to the Rock-O-Plane at Lagoon but taller and there is no brake!!!) So pretty much it's like this wayyy fast ferris wheel but the things you sit in spin and do flips and all that while you go round and round! (I know, makes you sick to think about right?)

Well... after that... the man opened Macey and Sierras' cart and Macey bolts out and..well... BLEAH. We were all, including Macey, cracking up though. While coughing and sputtering poor Macey wasn't even fazed! "That was awesome!" she yelled as soon as she caught her breath. We laughed for such a long time and it was soooo funny despite how sick it was. Haha.





Well she felt better, but she didn't want to risk losing the rest of her dinner on the next ride, which I didn't blame her, so I sat out with her while Kenzie and Sierra went on another wild ride. After that our tickets were all already gone, so we decided to leave and go to Sierra's and sleepover. We watched "10 Things I Hate About You" (WAYYYY CUTE MOVIE!!!!!), ate junkfood, and had soooo much fun.

So that's my story of last night:)

Most loved- hated movie I've EVER seen!

Ok, So last night me and my older sister Hannah decided to rent a movie at Redbox. We picked out "27 Dresses" which I had never seen before so I was excited! It seriously was so loved- hated by me! Like, I loved it, it was cute, but OMG some of the characters just PISSED ME OFF!!! Haha. Seriously though! Like for those of you that have seen it, Tess drove me absolutely insane. Ask my sister even! I was telling off the TV and one time I even through my socks at the TV when I got really upset. But is was still really good, like the story I guess and all.

So... I'm not really sure how I felt about "27 Dresses". I love/hated it:)

I'm Ashamed.

Ok, I'm soooo ashamed of myself for being such a slacker this summer on my posts!!! So much has happened!!!!

1. Girl's camp and Oakcrest:
Both GREAT experiences. I can't even begin to tell you how much those 2 weeks my testimony grew!!! It was awesome. Girl's camp was better than Oakcrest for me cuz at Oakcrest the activities weren't that great and we didn't get very much free time. Plus we slept in terrible bunks. And they gave us no food. Ok so they did. But hardly any!!! Seriously, they were such small portions!! But hey, I did make a lot of friends, my testimony grew more than I thought possible, and I did have a lot of fun at times. OH YA, and I met Haylee T. there too for the first time! She's way cool:) AND, it was my bff Hailey's birthday while we were there! It was really fun. I think she had a good time. I did:) And Girl's camp, oh man that was the best!!! We went up to one of my leader's cabin in the mountains and it was beautiful. Our theme was "Be your own kind of beautiful", so we learned all about inner beauty and all that. It was a way good experience.

2. Cousins & Family and MY 13th BIRTHDAY!!!
Well, my mom's side of the family come down in the summer usually, and they're always there for my birthday on the 25th of July, which is always the best!! I always have sooo much fun with my cousins. For my birthday we went to Seven Peaks and that was SOOOO frickin fun!! Then we were at my house and I opened the bestest presents ever! I got a new phone!! I am in love with it!! Also I got a giftcard, a book, 133$ altogether in bday money, anddd... I think that's it. It was awesome!

3. Misc....
I have had a great summer. I have done stuff with friends and spent time with my family a lot. I have done stuff like... boating, seen HSM at Capitol Theatre, shopping, seeing movies, went to a Salt Lake ReAL game, been to parties, chillin, and definitely trying to make the most of this summer. And it's definitely been great:)

BORED

OH my gosh I am so bored! This is how my summer has been besides Mexico and Chicago and friends. The days drag like nooo other with nothing to do. I'm home with my little sis and her friend. I've tried everyone pretty much and they are all at Lagoon cuz its Stake Lagoon Day but nooooo my parents said we can't and I have been looking forward to this day since... last time I went which was 2 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :'( cry cry!!!! UGHHHH I NEED SOMETHING TO DOOOOOOO! At least I go to Girls Camp tomorrow. That will be fun I think. Except that we're meeting at 8 in the morning. Psh. That sux. But it is a lot better than sitting at my house all day waiting for the phone to ring and when it does, it's for mom. Psh. WOW what should I do?!?!?!

BFF

Wow, I just wanted to say right now how AWESOME it is to have a best friend. I wouldn't trade mine for the world. (Hailey. And our names aren't the only thing we have in common.) I really seriously don't know what I would do without her. I haven't seen her too much this summer cuz we're both really busy so I miss her sooooo much!!! But we're going to a camp together in a few weeks and it will be so fun. I can't wait to see her then!

Ok I definitely think I should blog pictures of my 2 summer vacations so far, Mexico and Chicago. Ya, I never really blogged about Chicago and I'm not gonna lie I don't wanna explain everyday of it so here's a summary. Me and my mom went to Chicago together for a family reunion! It was really fun! And usually I'm not too fond of family reunions cuz I hate when like all these people you don't even know like come up to you and start talking to you like they have known you all their lives and you don't even know their names... ya I hate that. But this reunion was actually so much fun! I was with my cousins and we met our 1st cousin twice removed and she was really cool. We had so much fun! So after all the reunion stuff we went and stayed downtown and did lots of cool stuff like museums, aquariums, cool restaraunts, and whatnot. So ya, the pictures are above... starting with ones from Chicago:)

Hey well I have been meaning since I arrived home from my Mexico/Arizona trip to blog about but I have been slacking since then (last Tuesday). So I'll just start I guess haha.

DAY 1 WEDNESDAY

Whoosh! I jetted off on a plane by myself to Arizona where my cousin lives who I was going with to Rocky Point, Mexico with. I sat next to a WEIRDO man..it's a long story and I don't want to get to into it, but basically he scared the heck outta me and told me there was a 60% chance we would crash on the plane and all this stuff and THEN he noticed me writing in my journal and gave me like a 30 minute writing lesson...welll maybe I'll blog about that later. But ya anyway when I got to my cousin, Sam's, house we were already having a blast doing all sorts of things! We couldn't wait to drive to Mexico the next morning!

DAY 2 THURSDAY

Zoom! We were off in the van on a 4 hour drive to the Sea of Cortez! Yipee! It was a pretty easy drive actually. I just listened to my ipod and slept most of the time so it wasn't bad. Then when we got to the resort and checked into the condo, I was SO ready to hit the beach. You should have seen it, it was GORGEOUS. And right outside our condo door too. The water was so blue and the sand was white and ahhh..it was so pretty. We met up with the other families that were on the trip with us and there were 4 other girls me and Sams' age so we had losta fun at the beach and checking out all those small shops run by those "persuading" Mexicans("Almost free" is what they always tell you. It's hilarious:). That night we all watched August Rush (Way good movie!) and called it a night.

DAY 3 FRIDAY

Well, we did most of the same stuff everyday, you know, hanging out at the beach and just chilling. But today..oh..it was very unfortunate for me.... So here we go. I had my bag with my wallet and my phone and ipod and all the crap I had for the car. I really only needed my wallet cuz I was gonna buy some stuff but I just grabbed my whole bag anyway. So I was down by the sea you know, right by the ocean but not IN the water. Suddenly, you can never expect how the tide will roll, a huge wave came up and hit the bottom of my bag. Yep. Pretty sure my PHONE and IPOD were at the bottom. Greeeaaaattt. Yep. They're done for. Both fried. Sux. Trust me. Now I have to pay for a new phone (NOT CHEAP..talkin 220$) and I'll hopefully get a new ipod for my bday next month. So yeah:( I don't feel like explaining more of the day I was just mopey and upset so ya.

DAY 4 FRIDAY

Well this was the day I was trying to fake a smile about what happened the day before. I guess it worked too. It was just another fun day at the beach and what not. Yipee. Oh yeah that night we did the funnest thing. Me, Sam, Jessica, Arailya, Savannah, Samantha, and Brett (all same age) were daring each other to put salt on limes and eat them. It was the most disgusting thing ever but it was so funny to see everyone's faces!

DAY 5 SATURDAY (LAST FULL DAY)

Well it was the same old hangin at the beach. That night we played sardines and it was sooooo much fun we had the greatest time! It was really great. We also made smores and went to the Mexican grocery store. And I am not racist I swear it but it was soooo creepy there.

DAY 6 SUNDAY (DRIVE BACK TO AZ)

We left pretty early. The drive, not so great. I didn't have my phone OR ipod, what do you expect? AND Sam's brother puked and it reeked and ewww it was just sick. Ya we were just lazy when we got back and stuff.

DAY 7 MONDAY (MY FULL DAY IN AZ)

Greaaaattt. Sam was puking. Perrrfect. It was not fun that day. We just sat home all day. Cept we rented a movie. Funnnnn.

DAY 8 (LAST DAY)

Even better. Sam's sister was puking. Yesss. Not fun. Cept I went to my Aunt's yoga type thing class and it was really fun! Oh ya and we went shopping kind of. Well like the kind of shopping where you don't buy anything and you just browse. Then my plane left at 4:02!

Sooo.. there were ups and downs.... it was fun though! Just gotta take the positive things out of it is what my mom always says...:)

OMILANTA IM DONE WITH SEVENTH GRADE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT THE!!!! Ah man you don't even know how weird I feel right now! I have like the weirdest feeling in my stomach it's so weird ahh!!!

Omi I'm gonna miss everyone soooo much...:(. Everytime I keep looking at all the signings in my yearbook I wanna freakin cry!! Aw man it's soo sad. And looking at all the pictures of all my cute friends...agh I'm sad! :,( cry cry.

But today was a fun last day of school. I went to 1st and some of 2nd period and then me and my BFF checked out and we went to breakfast and went and saw some old elementary teachers. Then we went and met up with our other friends Ashley (the one who is moving...cry cry :'( ), Maddie, Whitney, and Rachael and went to Coldstone and just hung around. Then we all came back to school and got our yearbooks and did all the signing stuff. It was pretty fun..but then came those final hugs and goodbyes to all my friends...omi soooo sad!!

Ah well I hope I get over it. School's out...and I'm not as excited as I thought I would be!
